STANDING PRESSES AND VAPORISATION SYSTEM FOR HEART WOOD CURVING OR MULTILAYER CURVED GLUING

EIVS Mod. 1600 – 2000 – 2500 EIVL 2400

Standing presses and lamina presses belong to two different types of press and do not have the same applications. In fact, standing presses are recommanded for the slight curving of heartwood or curved gluing in multi-layers, while lamina presses are recommended for sharp curves of duly vaporised heartwood (for wich we can supply the complete system of steam generator and vaporisation tunnel).

Standing presses impart the trusth upwards and have both an upper and lower die-holder. Usually, high frequency generators of our production are used in glue polymerisation or heartwood stabilisation (the alternatives is the traditional cold system). Standard dimensions are the following:

mm. 1600 x mm. 800 Mod. EIVS 1600/800
mm. 1600 x mm. 1000 Mod. EIVS 1600/1000
mm. 2000 x mm. 1000 Mod. EIVS 2000/1000
mm. 2500 X mm. 1000 Mod. EIVS 2500/1000

further divided according to the maximum thrust weight required:
Kg. 40.000 , Kg. 70.000 , Kg. 100.000 and Kg. 150.000
The cylinders standard stroke is 650 mm while teh press opening is 800mm; further configurations are available on request.
The standing lamina presses use a single lower die since the upper counterdie is replaced by a stainless steel lamina which adapts to the mould pattern, by means of draft and back-thrust cylinder. The presses is also equipped with a special locking system that locks the board to be bent, and it is designed to be connected to our high frequency generators for a quick stabilisation of the operation. It can easily perform 180° curves.
The press standard dimensions, referred to the curving usable surface are: 600mm x 2400 mm with maximum thickness of 50 mm Mod. EIVL 2400
Other configurations are available on request.
